We’ve met Waldemar Hein from Jelastic team at Confess 2012 and discussed how to deploy PrimeFaces powered applications to Cloud platform of Jelastic. After emailing back and forth after the conference, our cooperation resulted in an official tutorial by Jelastic team.

I’ve deployed PrimeFaces Mobile to Jelastic Beta successfully
Hosting on Jelastic is not free. Right?
You initially get a free trial period and then, if you like the platform, you can fund the account to get access with no limits. Just go to http://Jelastic.com and sign up for free.
Jelastic is good, but it looks expensive for me http://jelastic.com/docs/pricing There are much cheeper VPS. 5 Jelastic’s cloudlets cost 72$ per month. This is the price I pay for the same configuration (RAM + CPU) for ca. 3 quarters (9 months) to netcup http://www.netcup.de/.
The difference is that Jelastic is not just a host, we simply the process of uploading, deploying, scaling and managing your application from end to end. Our platform makes it easy to things like vertical scaling, something you can’t do with the other provider you mentioned. And, unlike our real competition, Google and Amazon, there are no code changes involved in deploying your application with us; and even better, no lock-in either. Completely standards based. That’s what makes us different, and if anything, something of premium service–in that we provide so much more than just hosting: we make it easy to put your application in the Cloud.
