PrimeFaces 3.1.1 Released

PrimeFaces Team is glad to announce PrimeFaces 3.1.1, a maintenance release for 3.1 line. This release focuses on bug fixes and does not add any new features.

There are 10 fixes in total, please see the detailed changelog for more information. Downloads page is updated with the new release as well.

PrimeFaces 3.2 is under development and we’ll speed-up our pace starting from next week and hopefully deliver the first release candidate of 3.2 on 5th of March.

P.S. We are not sure if IceFaces, which is powered by PrimeFaces, will sync their code to include these changes.

I think no one will care about it because personally is quite hard to find a plausible reason to use a “copy” other than the original.

  2. Berfore getting aquainted with primefaces I had my main focus on icefaces as the leading edge jsf contributor. Not anymore.
Hope their harddrives always crashes and their network always dropps. Bad Karma.

  3. Unlikely to be able to synch with these changes anyway because Icesoft used the PF 2 branch if the blog on that was accurate.

  4. I agree! Primefaces is the best!, no matter what they do, Primefaces will always stand a step foward…

  5. I like PrimeFaces:)
There is still a bug in Inplace component with InputTextarea, save and cancel buttons are shown.

  6. Can we add “IceSoft” to the list of people that use Primefaces? :D

“Hate it or love it the underdog’s on top. And I’m gonna shine homie”

Optimus, this should boost your morale BIG TIME, because it shows that your work/solution is used by a competitor, which supports the concept, if you can’t beat them, then join (or use) them. :)

Keep up the good work Optimus/PrimeFaces, because Primefaces is a USABLE (and REUSABLE) solution!!!! :)

    • I think this type of comments should give you a hint for what to add to showcase. I would add a pdf section under p:media or p:lightbox.

      Regards.
